Just How Do You Get Started on Your Road to the Blogging Stratosphere?
We are getting ready to launch this blog as a guide to all those unsuspecting Blog Newbies who, unless given some direction, will wander aimlessly in the Blogosphere until their patience finally runs out. Success will not come just as a result of posting the odd piece of content and hoping for the best. I have tried it along with tens of thousands of others and the result is predictably abysmal.
Yes it’s wonderful to work things out by yourself if you have a hundred years at your disposal and an undiminished sense of purpose not to mention the stamina of an Astronaut. So what then to become a Bloganista? Just how can you break the deadlock and make some progress? Well lots of hard graft that’s for sure, but more importantly a Route map and a Mentor.
In the strictest sense of the term a Mentor usually works one to one with his or her student and this is admirable if you have a gigantic bottomless Bank account. If not, which is the more usual predicament, then you are going to have to align yourself with someone( or even several Bloggers) who has already been successful online and subscribe to their Blogs while following closely behind. There are numerous Blogs out there that will provide all the inspiration you can handle so choose wisely, keeping your subscribe finger under control! Making Music
Most Blogs that are worth following are well written and provide insightful information and advice. They are not punctuated with drivel, are not full of grammatical errors or typos and offer really good pertinent comments relating to the particular niche. Blogs inundated with Adsense and flashing widgets will most likely be unworthy of your attention. Advertisements that are relevant for products and services that will enhance your experience are a different matter altogether.
In common with blogging protocols we will not be shouting go Here and Buy this as if your life depended upon it but we will be reviewing products and services before recommending them to you.We will have used them ourselves and will give you the thumbs up or down as the case may be. In the next post we will examine the technical hurdles to be overcome in setting up your Blog and the decisions that you will have to makeat the outset .These will be worth spending a little time over since it is easier to set off on the right foot than it is to rectify mistakes later on .
Mistakes …? they don’t exist in the blogosphere ? in your dreams perhaps! There are a number of traps for the unwary just quietly waiting for you to come tripping along before springing into action like an arrow from a Bow. Be Warned and Be Successful!
